I am an artist and printmaker based in Musselburgh, Scotland.
Growing up on the desolate moors close to the Lancashire/Yorkshire border I have always drawn inspiration from nature. Now, living by the sea I find it is an endless source of inspiration, aesthetically, but also all of the history, folklore, power and mystery it holds. Past subjects include flashing patterns of Scottish lighthouses, Scottish fishing folklore, plastic pollution and buoys washed up ashore. My work is made up of printmaking, photography, collage and book making, creating minimal considered compositions.
I make stationery products, prints and jewellery under the name Buoy Oh Buoy Studio, stockists include The Portobello Bookshop, The Red Door Gallery, Leith Makers and Edinburgh Printmakers.
